Turning 180 degrees, there's one of the bulldozers used to help grade the roadbed. It doesn't look so large from here.

 

 

 

But you don't have to get much closer to see that it's a monster. Its a Caterpiller model D10. More than 70 tons of mean machine.

This Komatsu shovel is also impressive. The bucket in about 5ft tall!
